Cetara Amalfi Coast

Ancient fishing village immersed in the lush coastal landscape between the sea and the mountain.

Tourists will enjoy a visit to the tiny ancient village of Cetara which lies between Vietri and Punta di Fuenti, in a valley dominated by Mount Falerzio. Cetara is still predominantly inhabited by fishermen.

The village pf Cetara is situated on a small bay with the "Canillo" stream flowing through it. Here one can see the Vicereale Tower, the Church of St Francesco, the Church of St Chiara and the Church of St Pietro. The Celebrations in honor of the Immaculate Conception, the Naval Procession held in occasion of St Pietro, the Patron Saint's day, and the Tuna and Anchovy Fair are well worth watching.
