Praiano

Fishing village set in a peaceful landscape, with craft traditions dating back to the distant past.

Between Monte Sant'Angelo a Tre Pizzi and Capo Sottile, one finds Praiano, a small and supremely peaceful fishing village. A much sought after holiday destination since the times of the great Doge, Praiano has been known for centuries for the production of silk and embroidery.

To visit: the Church of St Luca Evangelista, small treasure trove art fine works of art including paintings by Bernardo Lama, and the adjacent three tiered bell tower which dominates the town.
