Vietri Sul Mare Amalfi Coast
Known Internationally for its marvelous ceramics, the most important town on the Amalfi Coast.
Famous on a worldwide scale for its production of exclusive ceramics, which are of great importance to the town's economy, Vietri can be found at the Eastern end of the Amalfi Coast. In addition to its ceramics, Vietri is known for its beach and Marina.
The town's principal monument is the Church of St Giovanni Battista with its Majolica decorated Dome. Also worth visiting are the small hamlets of Molina Albori, Raito, Benincasa and Dragonea. Excursions can be taken along the mountain paths of Mount Liberatore and Mount Falerio.
